Matthew 21:1-11

Big Idea: Our waiting is not passive; it empowers us to worship actively and be formed as we anticipate Christ’s glorious return.

Application: Waiting can be challenging, but as followers of Christ, we are called to wait actively. Here are three initial steps to help us become more like Jesus as we anticipate His return:

  1. Cultivate a Heart of Worship: We should start by examining what we truly worship and ensure our focus is on Him.
  2. Engage in Active Service: It's important to consider whom we are serving and how we are going about it. Our actions should reflect our commitment to serving others.
  3. Maintain a Hopeful Outlook: Throughout the ups and downs of life, we should strive to keep our hope anchored in Jesus as our King and embrace our identity as citizens of His kingdom.

By following these steps, we can await His return with purpose and faith.
