Ruth 1:6-22

Big Idea: We face the unknown with courage when our hearts cling to God and others. 

Application: Below are a few things we can do to help us take steps of faith, reminding us that God is present and faithful even when the future seems unclear, and that community and relationships play a crucial role in our journeys.

1.     Recognize God's Call.

               a. Steps of faith often start with small acknowledgments of God's faithfulness, suggesting that when we hear God's call, like Naomi, we can take the first stride believing that He provides.

 

2.     Choose Faithful Companionship.

                 a. Ruth's unwavering decision to stay with Naomi can inspire us to cling to relationships grounded in faith, offering insights on discerning commitments and reinforcing the Christ-like loyalty and devotion in our connections with others.

 

3.     Cling to God’s Promises.

                   a. Ruth's words can encourage us to embrace life's uncertainties, knowing that her steadfast trust in God's providence leads to redemption and purpose, much like Christ's journey paved the way for ours.
