1 Corinthians 10:1-22

Big Idea: Rather than avoid the past, we can use it to spiritually grow as we look forward, remembering that God's faithfulness remains even in our weakness and failures.

Application: In thinking about learning from our past there are a few question we can ask?

  •  How can you work to learn from your past?
  • • Who can you learn from?
  • • How is the Lord pointing back in your life and saying, “Don’t miss this!”?
  • • How do you respond when tempted by sin?
  • • Are you running to your idols?
  • • Are you running to Jesus and asking Him to show you where your heart is?
  • • What areas of life are you trying to escape the flesh with your willpower and knowledge, only to come up empty each time?
  • • How can you turn to Jesus instead?
