Big Idea: Our worship should lead us to magnify Christ and edify the Church.
Application: Worship that magnifies Christ and edifies the church is, purposeful in participation, peaceful in order, and properly ordered praise. In light of Paul's encouragement to the church in Corinth, below are some reflection questions to help you think about how you worship and what that means for daily life.
- What are the obstacles preventing you from worshipping God and serving the church?
- Does your worship produce or add to the harmony of others in worship, or does it lead to cacophony?
- How do you start your day? Perhaps thinking about and putting in place the practice of solitude might be helpful to cultivate a mindset of worship, putting Jesus at the forefront of your thoughts and the atmosphere of your home, work, or school.
