Big Idea: The problem with money is not that we use it as a tool but how it has the potential to use us.
Application: If money has the power to shape our hearts, then following Jesus means intentionally allowing Him to reshape them. This week, I want to invite you into two simple practices: generosity and prayer.
- Practice Generosity.
- Find one intentional way to give this week.
- It doesn't have to be a large amount.
- The size of the gift isn't the point.
- The posture of the heart is.
- Practice Prayer.
- Pray.
- Pay attention.
- Where do you feel fear?
- Where do you feel the need to stay in control?
- Where do you struggle to trust?
- Bring those things honestly before God and allow Him to reshape your heart.
